Seven Fields

The land which now comprises Seven Fields was originally farm land, owned primarily by the Speer/Schenk family.  Eventually the farms were sold for development in the 1970s and then in 1983 the Borough of Seven Fields was incorporated as an independent governing body after the original townhouse developer took the land and seceded from neighboring Cranberry Township.  Three years later the Seven Fields Development Company (SFDC) was created to help continue the development of the community.  The Borough of Seven Fields is a small community located in Southwest Butler County Pennsylvania and served by the Mars School District.  Seven Fields is one square mile and according to the 2010 US Census has a population of 2,887.  The community is mostly residential, but we boast many businesses and great restaurants in the area. We are bordered on the north, west, and southeast by Cranberry Township and on the east by Adams Township. Located just 17 miles north of Pittsburgh there are many attractions to find.  Seven Fields is a beautiful place with a strong sense of community. The small, hometown atmosphere has attracted many to the area.
